Name that Kirtsy Book Contest - August 4-8

How Good Are You At Naming Things?
If you didn’t name your child Moxie Crimefighter, or your website after an article of clothing, well, then we think you’re pretty darn good at naming things. After all, you people named kirtsy … and look how great that turned out?! In other words, you’re brilliant!

And so we have another naming opportunity for you. (And a HUGE big announcement.)

It’s a book.

A kirtsy book!!!

That’s right! A very lovely kirtsy book is in the process of being created and will be published by Bright Sky Press, an affiliate of Independent Publishers Group. The hardcover trade book will be a celebration of women’s voices, writings, art, design, ideas, discoveries and discussions online. It will feature some of the greatest things we’ve seen on kirtsy over the last year and be distributed across North America, and available for purchase any place fine books are sold. It will be beautiful. But first…

It needs a title.

So of course we’d love to hear what you think it should be called.

Maybe: Take a Bow, the first year of Kirtsy

No? Too obvious?

What about: Stuff Kirtsy People Like

No? Too done?

A Tribe Called Kirtsy

Oh, now you have “Can I Kick It” in your head? Sorry.

How about: Kirtsy it’s like Cursty spelled with a Skirtsy

No. I didn’t think so either.

Obviously we need help.

And that’s where your brilliant mind comes in. It’s the Name That Kirtsy Book Contest!

Name that book!

Tell us what you think the kirtsy book should be called. Really. You can give us as many options as you can handle creating, we can take it. Seriously. This great book needs a great title.

Just leave your ideas on our blog. You have until midnight EST, Friday, August 8th. And then! Then. We will pick a winner. And the winner shall receive fame, recognition, love, an entry of her or his choice in the book (you’ll be published dude!) and five (five!) of her (or his) choice of books from the fantastic Bright Sky Press.

It’s all true. It’s going to be amazing. We can’t wait to see what it becomes.
